Yoga4Cancer classes were developed to assist cancer survivors manage treatment side effects and enhance cancer recovery. Our y4c classes occur on a regular, weekly basis which allows our Clients to form supportive friendships and a consistency in their practice. They are given the chance to reconnect to their own bodies and lives through this strong, mutual support.
Practicing yoga has been shown to improve overall quality of life and for our Clients who attend on a regular basis, it helps them gently restore muscle strength and flexibility, as well as reduce some of the stress and anxiety associated with fighting cancer. These classes encourage survivors to take an active role in their recovery and are tailored to each Client’s individual ability and needs.
