Are you undergoing treatment for cancer or know someone who is? Are you caring for someone with a cancer diagnosis? Mondays with SOUL RYEDERS invites women with cancer and/or their caregivers to visit our partner salon, one dedicated Monday each month for complimentary hair and spa services, emotional support and information about local cancer-related resources. Mondays with SOUL RYEDERS® may be medicine for the soul that we can deliver in a warm, comforting environment surrounded by the support of our nurturing volunteers.

Depending on availability, we offer our Clients one or more services including pre-chemo haircut/head shaving, manicures, makeup application (with focus on eyelashes and eyebrows), massage, reflexology, reiki, wig styling, relaxation and emotional support. Our Wig Advisors from The Wig Exchange are also on hand for wig fittings. We also offer our Clients light, healthy refreshments donated by our volunteers.

*All Sessions Temporarily ON HOLD

Mondays with SOUL RYEDERS (“Mondays”) is modeled after Mondays at Racine in Islip, NY, which began in 2003. The Co-Founders decided to replicate their model after receiving such positive feedback from the 2013 Oscar-nominated short documentary about their program. For more information, please visit

“Yesterday was the best day I had in 3 months. I felt surrounded by love and support from the moment I entered the salon.”

“I want to thank you all for such an incredible experience yesterday- my mom left ‘Mondays’ with the sparkle in her eyes that you told me about. I cannot tell you how good it made all of us feel.”

“Thank you all so much for today. It was the best I have felt in weeks – if not months!”

“We want to express our sincere gratitude and thanks for the care and kindness everyone bestowed on my daughter during her visit this past Monday. She was able to face a difficult and emotional period in her fight against cancer with the love and compassion surrounding her there.”

“I was impressed once again with all of the positive energy that seems to be the hallmark of SOUL RYEDERS. Maybe one of these days after I have recovered I can pay it forward and give back.”
